We were sent a bag from Nova Harley to review,
and it looks so far from a baby bag, that friends and family were in disbelief that it was designed for that purpose. From the outside, the Paris is sophisticated, classy and the kind of bag that would not be out of place in an office. The cowhide leather outer and the choice between short handles and a long body strap gives the bag flexibility and all signs of baby are well and truly hidden.

Add on the extra (detachable) straps that are designed to secure the bag to a single handled buggy though, and you start to see that this bag is actually quite practical for a mother. The inside of the bag is divided into numerous sections, each labelled with a picture to make sure you never lose things in the depths of the bag again. With pockets for nappies, medicines and snacks amongst other things, there is still free space for the other baby essentials like sophie le giraffe and the toddler's sticker books.
The 'mummy pouch' in the middle has plenty of space for all my handbag contents - purse, hairbrush, railcard, notebook etc and has an extra mini pouch for your keys - perfect for those like me who can even lose my keys in a shallow pocket! The inside is also wipe-cleanable to cope with the inevitable nappy cream explosions.
Both my children are in cloth nappies and this bag could easily hold enough for an afternoon out (4/5) as well as having a couple of disposables for spare. I think a full day out with both would be a stretch, but I have yet to find a nappy bag that can cope. For two in disposable nappies you would have absolutely no problems The Paris is incredibly roomy and I was surprised at just how much fitted in there.
The one thing that I would change about this bag is the fact there are no external pockets. I understand that the bag is designed to be elegant but I would have loved a small zipped pocket on the outside for my phone.
This bag does not come cheap and is more than I have previously spent on a changing bag before, coming in at just over £300, but for those that spend this sort of money on a handbag then I do think this is a quality bag, and you will likely be carrying it for the next few years so a worthwhile investment! The bag is incredibly well made, durable and wouldn't look out of place on your arm once your children are older (just don't let people look inside!) I love the colour and design and have had so many compliments on it.
Disclaimer: I was sent this bag free of charge for the purpose of this review,
but all thoughts and opinions are completely my own.
