After a misleading few days of energy, I am feeling exhausted again, which I am not sure if it is down to pregnancy or the hectic life that is being a parent to a one and three year old. A mixture of the two I suspect. By the time the littlies are tucked up in bed, I am not up to much more than collapsing on the sofa, and there are days I am still desperate for a snooze by lunchtime. I have started having more headaches, but I know that a good night's sleep is all it needs to go away.
I have been concerned about not feeling much movement, as by this point with Archie there were definite kicks, but pretzel is hidden behind an anterior (at the front) placenta, which is blocking pretty much everything he or she does at the moment. I think I have felt that familiar popping sensation several times, but nothing that I would say for sure is my little baby having a wriggle.
I wouldn't say I have a specific craving but when I want something, I know what it is. Usually it is something salty, and I am getting through bags of crisps far too fast! I have a midwife appointment next week, and I am looking forward to hearing pretzel's heartbeat.
It's funny how familiar the wiggles can feel when they start up again - I think it must be one of those sensations that you just never forget! You're looking fabulous too, I can't believe you're at 15 weeks already!
ReplyDeleteI know! I am actually 16 weeks now, just a bit useless at publishing these posts. I can't wait for proper kicks
DeleteLove the little calendar t-shirt idea! You look wonderful! Looking forward to reading these updates as Pretzel gets bigger! :) xx
ReplyDeleteAll my best ideas come from pinterest ;)
DeleteI believe it's a girl!
ReplyDeletewow - 15 weeks, it's flying! But then mine is too - I'm 27 weeks now… crazy! x Hope you start feeling better soon ;) I did at around 14/15 weeks xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bump shots - you don't look tired at all! I also have an anterior placenta but have felt loads of movement and seen big kicks from around 20 weeks, so if you have a very wriggly baby it won't necessarily be blocked by the placenta (or that's what my midwife said anyway). I do think pregnancies go faster when you have other children to look after - I know this one has flown by compared to when I was pregnant with my daughter! Thank you for linking up #BlogBumpClub again xx
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you are looking fab! I have an anterior placenta too and found that felt movements much later than I did with the others. There have been a few panics too! Hopefully as is good with you but do call midwife if you're worried x x
ReplyDelete15 weeks is still SUPER early for movement so don't worry.

I love that your tshirt stops at 40 - did the boys arrive early?
ReplyDeleteThe boys were born at 38 and 39 weeks so will be very surprised if I make it to 41 (and probably even more unhappy!)
DeleteI'd like to thank you for the efforts you have put in penning this website.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to see the same high-grade blog posts by you later on as well.
