Joe Browns Review and Giveaway

I don't very often get to shop for myself, and I have a tendency to head straight to the childrenswear department in any store, so I was happy to say yes when Joe Browns offered me the chance to choose something for myself.  I initially went for a lovely summer dress but unfortunately I found the sizing quite big and couldn't get a dress that fitted.  I had no problems choosing something else and went for a lovely blue tunic top and some sandals.

The top looked lovely and was a nice thin cotton, perfect for the summer.  After finding the dress came up too big, I went for the size 8 in this top and found that I couldn't do up the top buttons - I liked the look a lot with a white vest underneath though so this wasn't an issue.  I would recommend trying a couple of sizes in case of any inconsistency and returns are easy and free of charge.  I love the fit of the top as it flares out and covers any lumps and bumps and it washes well.

The shoes were a perfect fit and were much more comfortable than I thought.  I usually stick to flipflops in the summer but fancied something a bit nicer and these are a great choice.  The toe strap felt very secure and the ankle straps didn't rub or irritate.  I will be wearing these a lot this summer although I might keep my flip flops for toddler groups and the beach still.

I was really impressed with the choice and quality of the items, and the only issue I had was with the sizing.
