16 Weeks Pregnant and Giveaway

So 16 weeks and well and truly into the second trimester! 

On the Inside

I am certainly starting to
get my energy back although there are still those days where I feel completely knackered.  I am also finding I get out of breath faster but not sure if that is to do with growing a baby or a growing toddler to push around.  This week I got to see my midman and hear little Squish's heart beating away.  Dylan came racing across the room with a massive grin on his face as soon as the midwife found the heartbeat and climbed up to get closer.  I think he is getting excited about being a big brother!

On the Outside

I think growth has slowed down, probably as the bump starts to become more baby and less bloating at this stage.  My normal jeans have been packed away now as maternity are so much more comfy and I am sticking to tighter tops to show off my growing middle as some looser clothes can make it look like a food baby rather than a real one is growing.   I may not be glowing but my skin feels nicer and my hair is getting thicker and stronger.

Competition

The bloke and I have been discussing Squish's gender and have agreed to disagree with our predictions.  There is a crisp £20 note riding on the outcome though and only four weeks until we find out.  Palmer's have sent me some of their lovely new products and I am finding they smell even more delicious than the old ones! My favourite is the massage cream but I love putting the tummy butter on a couple of times a week as it feels so luxurious and smells completely edible.  These products are not only good for pregnant women - I used Palmer's after having Dylan too as I loved the way my skin felt and my body was still changing shape for quite a while.
