As Playologists we were invited up to London to help the playmobil guys celebrate, and to rub shoulders with some lifesize Playmobil figures. Pirate Castle in Camden was taken over by giant plastic men and Dylan loved seeing his toys come to life. He was even more excited when he spotted the pirate and loved shaking his hand and playing with his sword.
Playmobil is a favourite in this house for so many reasons. It is timeless, it has no batteries to replace, no annoying sounds, no rules and no time limit. In the right mood the boys can play for ages, lost in their own pretend world and I love seeing Dylan's extraordinary imagination and Archie's curiosity.
Happy 40 Years Playmobil!
Did you grow up with Playmobil? do your children enjoy playing with it now? You can find out more on the Playmobil facebook page
