Just Cora // Bambinista

It is strange having just one child for three days a week, especially after a summer of having four every day.  It is a big adjustment, especially for Cora who doesn't stop asking for Finn whenever he is gone.  She has always had brothers around her, always had a playmate at her side and we are slowly adapting to the new normal with plenty of playgroups and time with friends so she doesn't find it too strange.

It feels so free in a way, that I can take her out and not have to keep looking for the other one.  As she gets older and into more things, we can do those without thinking about whether it is what everyone wants to do.  She can have me to herself  which she is definitely enjoying and I love when she naps and I get a few minutes to myself!

There is still a year until Cora is entitled to her funded hours at nursery and at the moment I am not planning on sending her until next September.  Finn will then start school and I won't know what to do with myself! I hope we can enjoy the few days a week we get without any of the boys around and I hope she stops missing Finn so much soon!

We were asked if we wanted to choose something from Bambinista after we loved the Huxbaby dress we got in the summer (I have to hide it some days as Cora would wear it every day if she had the choice) and I had already been eyeing up a couple of dresses from Small Stories.  It isn't a brand I have heard of before but the styles and prints are amazing and my wishlist is still growing.  I love this cloud print though and the colours are so lovely and soft, just like the dress.  Cora is a very petite two year old so I knew that choosing 2-3 was a gamble but I think it works a little oversized with folded up sleeves and she is only going to get taller (eventually).

Bambinista sell a fantastic range of brands that we know and love and I am loving discovering new ones through them too!

What Cora Wore // Bambinista

It feels like Cora hadn't grown in a long time but we have finally entered a growth spurt and I am enjoying getting to sort out the next size up clothing! We were approached by Bambinista who sell some seriously cool kids clothes and I had to look through pretty much the whole site before making a decision as there were so many lovely bits.  I finally settled on a dusky pink ballerina dress for Cora though and I (and she) just love it.

The designer is Huxbaby and I think they have filled a gap with this dress as it has the prettiness of a ballerina, it is feminine and fun and ever so girly but the dark bunny prints and dusky colour make it a bit more fun, a bit different and very stylish.

Bambinista stock clothing for boys and girls up to age 6 as well as a few adult items too and the website was started to make shopping for cool baby clothes easier.  The brands they stock include many of our favourites like CarlijnQ, Lucky no.7 and Lottie & Lysh and this dress is our first item from Huxbaby although it is a brand I have been admiring for a while now.

I think this dress would work well for a special occassion, but it was just as good for a scoot to the park, and when you are two it is totally acceptable to wear your party dress on an average Tuesday of course.  I love these photos of Cora just playing and scooting along in it and she is so in love with this dress that I know she is going to be grabbing it out her wardrobe at every opportunity.  If you do look at the Huxbaby selection then I would suggest sizing up.  This dress is a size bigger than she usually wears and it fits lovely.

Bambinista currently have their summer sale on and this dress is half price! There are lots of other bargains and great brands to discover too! I will leave you with some more photos of her having fun in her bunny outfit.
