Fortunately it wasn't a warm summer so I only needed a couple of thinner tops which I wore with the same trousers! I was also fortunate to be able to borrow a lot of maternity clothes. I found that a lot of my baggier normal tops still fitted, so I just bought some bump band things which went around the tummy to prevent a draft!Jennifer Jainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06135607034769804251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272181942422526971.post-22869520661018254162012-11-10T11:36:44.553+00:002012-11-10T11:36:44.553+00:00I stupidly wore a maternity skirt 4 months after I...I stupidly wore a maternity skirt 4 months after I'd given birth. It was so comfy. It was a M&P bandeau style skirt so I thought no one would notice. Most horrific moment was when I went to a client meeting at work and nipped to the loo. I'd got the skirt on upside down and the tummy band was pointing downwards. I was so embarrassed. Having said that, it hasn't put my off - I still wear my maternity shirts now - they look great as boyfriend shirts xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272181942422526971.post-17717797318938838142012-11-10T08:48:21.373+00:002012-11-10T08:48:21.373+00:00I was lucky - my children's birthdays are only...I was lucky - my children's birthdays are only 2 days apart, so I went through the same seasons at the same stages of pregnancy. But I've managed to make one dress last another 3 years since my son was born. It was a simple jersey wrap dress, so the only change in the design to harbour the bump was a longer hem at the front. All I had to do was level the hem with my sewing machine and I've got a dress I can wear all the time.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12117249594444297964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272181942422526971.post-69031984934293016752012-11-09T19:21:27.893+00:002012-11-09T19:21:27.893+00:00Your looking great, I am doing the same but not re...Your looking great, I am doing the same but not really with maternity stuff- I am just using old dresses and things I don't mind stretching! x

Katie @mummydaddymehttp://www.mummydaddyandmemakesthree.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3272181942422526971.post-67719128909561334462012-11-09T18:48:53.615+00:002012-11-09T18:48:53.615+00:00I was pregnant at opposite times of year for my tw...I was pregnant at opposite times of year for my two pregnancies as well, except I did the winter pregnancy the first time and summer the second time. Last time I lived in short dresses and leggings, so I managed to reuse them. Although I spent the majority of this latest pregnancy in existing non-maternity dresses that I already had.
I really think if you're clever you can get away with buying very little maternity wear.
