Fathers Day Gift Ideas

Fathers day is very nearly upon us and if you haven't started shopping for the man in your life then you are not alone.  The bloke has very kindly offered to test a few fathers day gift ideas (it is really hard work living with a blogger sometimes), so check out his reviews below.

There is no denying that this razor is more convenient than my usual handheld non-electric variety.  I can use it quickly before work or in the shower and it takes no time at all to shave.  I found that as Braun suggest, it is best on three day stubble as any more or less didn't give as clean a shave.  Even on day three the shave wasn't as close as with a non-electric razor but Bex didn't seem to mind so nor did I.  The convenience means I am shaving much more than I was.  It looks and feels great and the design is modern and masculine.  The trimmer was my favourite feature.  

It is currently half price at Boots at £70 which I think is a great price.

I like the inclusion of the word essentials in this description as I find chocolate to be an essential part of fathers day.  The box was huge and it was full of boxes of chocolates, truffles and a few bars too.  The continental boxes were first to pass the taste test and they went down a treat.  They were well presented and there was a great variety - something for every mood.  There is far too much chocolate for one man so this is a gift best shared with the family (Ok, so I might have added this in myself).
