M&S Holiday Essentials Review

You may have seen that we have recently spent a fantastic week on a family ski holiday, where we enjoyed the sun, the snow and some time away together.  The lovely people at M&S sent me a few bits to pack in my suitcase and it was lovely to have some little treats whilst we were away.

Although most of the day was spent in my ski jacket and sallopettes, by 4pm everything was shutting down and I wanted something comfy and warm to change into ready for dinner.  Marks and Spencers sent me a lovely beige knit dress which was perfect for the cooler evenings, especially with the lovely thermal long sleeved top underneath.  It was a lovely fit and was really easy to wear with leggings and big boots.  I always know that Marks and Spencer's clothes are well made and good quality and this dress was no different.

I took with me a mini Crabtree and Evelyn hand set, and it came in very handy.  The change of temperature and amount of time I spent with gloves on meant that my hands needed a little TLC at the end of the day and the hand creams were perfect.  They left our hands (the bloke felt it was essential that he tested these too) feeling super soft and they were perfectly sized to take away with us.

I also had a lovely body butter to look after my skin and the bloke commented on the delicious smell as soon as I opened it.  It was lovely and thick and easy to put on and the tube was much easier to pack than a tub.

Lastly I was sent a fantastic face cream from Queen Bee  that I have to admit I would never have looked at before as it is more than I would usually spend, but it was a welcome luxury when I got back from our trip to pamper my face.  The sun was strong whilst we were away and I had to wear factor 50 sun-cream every day so it was lovely to come home and get back into a good skincare regime.  This cream is really good and left my skin feeling really refreshed and nourished although I am still not sure I could justify the £65 price tag.
