Buggy Snuggle

With winter on its way, my priority is keeping my beautiful babies warm.  We love to be out an about come snow or sun and so a footmuff is an essential.

I have previously bought the footmuffs that go with our pushchairs but as Dylan has grown, he has grown out of some and we also have a few new pushchairs since last winter, so I have been looking for some universal footmuffs that we can transfer between double and single.

Buggysnuggle are known for their funky designs and adaptable footmuffs and we were not dissapointed.  I went for the same print but in different colours and I love how they look in the double buggy.
Dylan looks beautiful in blue, but I love Archie in bright colours and as soon as we opened the parcel, Dylan claimed the blue one as his.  The footmuffs can fit in most buggies and can either fold over the top of the seat or tie onto a handlebar.  In the mountain buggy duet which is the double we are currently using, the buggysnuggles are secured to the bar above the seats.

I have had problems in the past with footmuffs being loose and sliding down the seat but these are definitely staying put  meaning that the boys are snuggled in completely.  Two way zips mean that muddy wellies can poke out the bottom if you wish too which I know will be very handy with my puddle obsessed toddler.  The front of the Buggysnuggle has a little pocket sewn in too, perfect for a little snack or a spare dummy.

The snuggles that we chose are super soft and much thicker and warmer than I imagined.  The fake fur is lovely and cosy and the buggysnuggles seem perfect for both children despite their huge size difference.  They do make only the one size which would be pretty roomy on a newborn (although if you use a carrycot then baby wouldn't need one until 6 months) but at 8 months it is a great fit on Archie.

Dylan is an extremely tall 26 month old (around 97cm) and he fits comfortably with his feet enclosed and the zips done up.

The only thing that bugs me is that when I lie the boys down to sleep, I have to untie the buggysnuggle from the bar so they can lie flat.  I haven't come up with any other solution because of the nature of this buggy though so I think this is more the pushchair than the buggysnuggle.  If your Buggysnuggle was hooked over the back of the seat then this wouldn't be an issue.

We are really impressed with these gorgeous footmuffs.  They are bright, bold, beautiful and the boys want to be in them.  I have no doubt that they will keep them warm and snuggly over the cold season.  I would highly recommend them for babies and toddlers alike, there are some fun and funky designs too, perfect for jazzing up a black buggy!

Disclaimer:  We were sent one buggy snuggle free of charge
but all thoughts and opinions are completely my own.

  1. These definitely look very nice and snugly. Love the colours and pattern too. My two have coordinating fleece blankets (the ones I bought at Kiddicare with you, remember?) but I really want some proper cosy toes for the winter, I'll check these out. x
