Tidy Books Review and Competition

Our new house has a huge living room - big enough that we are splitting it in two with an invisible line, and having an adult end and a play room end.  Planning the play room has been really exciting and a full post will follow, but for now I am sharing the gorgeous bookcase we have.  I have mentioned before that Dylan is a mini-bookworm and nothing has changed.  He will most often pick books over toys and his collection is growing at quite a rate!  This is something I definitely encourage as a lover of books myself and I cannot wait to introduce him to some of my old favourites when he is a bit older.

Tidy Books have sent us one of their stunning bookcases in light blue and it is the perfect way for Dylan to show off his books in the new room whilst still keeping them tidy.  The bookcase
takes up hardly any space at all compared to a normal bookcase, so would be perfect in any room, large or small.  It holds plenty of stories despite it's size and the fact that they are on display means your child can easily reach for their favourites.  There is the option to have the bookcase with or without the letters, but I love them and hope they will encourage Dylan when he is learning the alphabet - he already likes to point at them in turn and listen to me reciting them back to him.

The bookcase is strong and very easy to put together.  The materials are great quality and even I could work out the instructions.  It feels secure and is attached to the wall with two screws at the top, meaning no matter how hard they pull, the bookcase is not falling over.

I am absolutely in love with this Tidy Books children's bookcase and cannot recommend them enough.  I think they are the perfect storage solution for any nursery or playroom and the superb quality cannot be faulted.  The retail price is £125 for this bookcase and I think it is a great investment. I am lucky enough to be able to offer one reader of The Mummy Adventure the chance to win one in a natural finish, complete with the alphabet lettering, all you need to do is fill in this entry form!   If you are not lucky enough to win, I still have a great discount code to offer, just type in MUMADV20 at the checkout.

Disclaimer:  I was sent the bookcase for the purpose of this review but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Discount code ends December 24th

Competition closes at Midday on 21st December GMT and the winner will be announced that afternoon. unfortunately we cannot guarantee the prize will be delivered before Christmas, but it will be the perfect way to store all those Christmas presents!  The competition is being run through the Tidy Books facebook page, and Tidy Books are responsible for randomnly selecting the winner and distributing the prize.  Competition is open to UK entrants only and no bulk or third party entries are allowed.

  2. I'm not sure if I've entered correctly either but I soooo want to. What a gorgeous bookcase. It's so sweet. Dexter has hundrds of books but we always just pick up the one at the top of the pile. Would be great to have them organised so Dexter gets some variation at bedtime.
